Announcement for the start of a new political party

Fellow nations of the Conservative Coalition, on behalf of myself and other nations that have united in efforts to raise a great region with potential for a great future, I am pleased to announce the formation of a new party within our borders; the Conservative Party.
We are all conservatives that have gathered together in this great region, but we in the Conservative Party see many areas that can be improved upon to promote a healthier future. The conservative base in NS is weak and there are not many powerful conservative regions. We believe that we can change that. And so, for the future of our nations and regions, we do establish this party platform.
1. A Constitutional Convention
This party will move to create a responsibly chosen proportionate delegation that will convene for the purpose of creating a regional constitution. These delegates will retain no power and will receive no benefits from the convention. They will be creating what the future leaders of this nation will rule by. At the end of the convention, they will disband. This is the way a constitution should be written. No sitting congress should create its own constitution.
2. Recruitment and growth
We will establish a healthy recruitment team to bring in new conservative WA nations into the region. Our initial goal is to double the current number of WA nations in the region. Imagine a conservative region with powerful regional influence.
3. Multi party, multi choice
We establish ourselves to the benefit of the people. One party isn’t a choice.
4. Congressional Notice
When congress meets, it shouldn’t convene, vote, and legislate without the people’s awareness. Posting the dates isn’t enough. The regional board changes frequently. The congress dates should be posted in the fact book early enough for all to see and take advantage of. In addition, a congressional meeting should consist of a decision to the events to be discussed at the next meeting. The people should be telegrammed and notified. You should be able to see what it is congress is going to vote on in the next meeting.
5. Expansion of Congress
Understanding that we are still a small region, we understand that a large congress is not necessary. We do believe that congress should be expanded beyond 3 members and a VD. Congress should be responsible and transparent. It should also be large enough that it never gives the impression of an oligarchy.
7. No unauthorized spying
No Delegate, VD, Congress member, Cabinet member, or government official is authorized to spy without a vote and approval by congress. Anyone committing this offense endangers the nation and should be impeached. Our party will fight to include this in the constitution.
8. Delegate cabinet authority
We believe that the Regional Delegate should have the opportunity to form a cabinet at his discretion. These members should have no government power outside the scope of their job. A Secretary of State and Defense along with a national recruiter should be allowed. This allows more nations to get involved and learn of the region’s workings and participate in its growth. Future nations will be excited to see such openness and participation. They won’t come with the apprehension of closed and secretive government.
9. Congressional petition
The nations should be able to petition their issues to the congress. The sitting congress must take each petition seriously and have a floor motion vote on its discussion. All a nation needs for its petition to be heard is one congressman motion the petition into discussion. Let the people be heard.
10. Record of congressional voting
Congress should record all votes by each member and record both the passed bills and the rejected bills. Voters should be able to read facts before elections instead of rhetoric and hearsay about candidates.
11. Voting rights to WA delegates only
Puppet nations are a danger to the security of a nation. Although we understand some nations have no desire to be part of the WA and may not have any underlying goals, a safe and fair democracy being necessary, we do not believe that non WA nations be able to vote without verification.
In addition, we want to improve communication and understanding to the betterment of the nations in the following ways:
-Run the forums better.
-Talk to the international community more.
-Take better advantage of the world fact book entry.
-Keep an open list on the world fact book with government positions.
